ON THURSDAY THE 16TH OF APRIL THE PLENARY MEETINGS OF THE FOURTH SESSION OF THE VERKHOVNA RADA OF UKRAINE OF THE SIXTH CONVOCATION WERE HELD
Volodymyr Lytvyn, the Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine has informed on the results of the plenary work of the Verkhovna Rada on the 15th of April
The People´s Deputies has repeatedly scrutinized the Law "On Measures on the Finance and Economic Crisis Overcoming in the Sphere of Social Protection, Salary and Employment" with the President´s Motions. None of the President´s motions was upheld. Verkhovna Rada has not overcome the veto of the President of Ukraine and has rejected it. (For 216 votes).
The Bill on Amendments of the Law of Ukraine "On State Support of the Agriculture of Ukraine" was delivered by the Vice-Chairman of the committee on Agrarian Policy and Land Relations, Sergiy Ryzhuk.
As a result of the discussion the Bill was directed for the further elaboration (241 votes).
The Verkhovna Rada has adopted in the second reading and in its entirety the Law "On Association of the Self-Governing Bodies". The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine adopted the Law "On Amendments to certain Legislative Acts of Ukraine in view of Adoption of the Law "On Freedom of Movement and Free Choice of Place of Residence in Ukraine" in the third reading and in its entirety (347 votes).
In the result of the scrutiny in the second reading the Bills on amendments to the Law "On Local State Administrations" and "On Amendments to the Law "On Local Self-Governing in Ukraine" were rejected.
The Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, V. Lytvyn has informed on the Conciliation Council, which was held during the Break in the Sitting of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine.
In particular, the leaders of the parliamentary factions have resolved that the Bill "On Procurement of Goods and Services at the Expenses of State" should be elaborated by the General Juridical Administration of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine. After the publication of the Bill on the official wed site of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, the document would be directed to the Verkhovna Rada for the scrutinizing on the 14th of May.
The Bill of the Resolution "On the formation of the Temporary Inquiry Panel pf Ukraine on investigation of the death of the People´s Deputy of the Verkhovna Rada of the IV convocation, Igor Pluzhnikov and property prehension of the shares of the "Inter" television Company" should be scrutinized during the meeting of the Verkhovna Rada after the Committee on Rules of Parliamentary Procedure, Ethics and Support to Work of The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine eliminates the maladjustedments in the document
The People´s Deputies have voted for the transferring of the scrutiny of the suggested Bills.
Parliamentarians have scrutinized the Bills of the Resolutions on election and dismissal of the judges and adopted corresponding resolutions.
Verkhovna Rada conscription for the arrest of judge of the Local Kakhovka City and Regional Court, Oleg Krukov and judge of the Local Boryspil City and Regional Court, Korniets Mykola Ivanovych.
Then the morning meeting was closed.
At the beginning of the evening meeting, the tribune was clocked by the Yulia Tymoshenko Block Deputies. Faction demanded the scrutiny of Bill of the resolution "On the formation of the Temporary Inquiry Panel pf Ukraine on investigation of the death of the People´s Deputy of the Verkhovna Rada of the IV convocation, Igor Pluzhnikov and property prehension of the shares of the "Inter" television Company".
Chairman of the Committee on Rules of Parliamentary Procedure, Ethics and Support to Work of The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, Oleksandr Efremov declared that the Bill should be scrutinized during the meeting of the Verkhovna Rada after the Committee on Rules of Parliamentary Procedure, Ethics and Support to Work of The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine eliminates the maladjustedments in the document.
The Chairman tried several attempts to ask People´s Deputies to continue working but in vain
